"There will never be another woman like my mum. She was the strongest woman I've ever known. She was my best friend and I don't know how to do life without her...."

On Thursday, Jodie shared another tribute to her mum in a second Instagram post as she shared more photos and memories of her mum after her death.

"The most classy woman I've ever known," Jodie wrote. "Beautiful inside and out. So much fun, always there when you needed her and so so clever. I am empty."

Jodie has been keeping her followers updated on her mum's cancer diagnosis on her Twitter page, including sharing that her mum having cancer is the "hardest thing we've ever been through" as she praised Rutherford Cancer Centres for their advice and support.

"Your staff are wonderful," she added. "Mum is with the NHS but the advice we've had from you guys is the thing that kept us going and gave us strength."

Jodie Marsh appeared on Celebrity Big Brother series 4 back in 2006 and was the first housemate to be evicted, leaving on Day 9. She returned to the series in 2012 as she tasked the new housemates to take part in a bodybuilding challenge.

The model later went on to star in a number of other reality TV shows, including featuring in a Channel 5 documentary about bullying.
