  • Jodie Turner-Smith shared a video via her Instagram Stories of her singing along to the Dawson's Creek theme song, while she and her husband, Creek star Joshua Jackson, shopped at their local Home Depot.

  • The two actors secretly married in December 2019 and are currently expecting their first child together.

Not even Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson can resist the nostalgia of a local Home Depot playlist.

Turner-Smith shared via her Instagram Stories yesterday the moment that Paula Cole's "I Don't Want to Wait" began to play over the home improvement store's speakers. In the clip, the Queen & Slim actress starts laughing and pans her phone's camera to her husband, considering the iconic track was the theme song to Dawson's Creek, the teen drama series Jackson starred in for five years.

"You couldn't write this," Turner-Smith captioned the video. "Felt ALL THE FEELS when I heard this song. #PACEY4EVA."

Jackson plays off the throwback moment with a nonchalant expression. "Is there something amusing you, babe?" the actor asks his wife, while Turner-Smith playfully lip-synchs along to the track.

The newlyweds' Home Depot visit wasn't the first time Turner-Smith showed her adoration for her husband's classic character. The actress told W Magazine last year that her first adolescent crush was none other than the principal Mr. Witter on the beloved series.

"[My first crush] was Pacey from Dawson’s Creek!" gushed Turner-Smith over her now-husband. "I was a very young teenager."
