Joe Malone London: Luxury brand opens festive pop-up stall in Derby city centre
A well-known brand has set up shop in Derby city centre for the next month or so, set to bolster Derby's Christmas shopping offerings. Located on Level 2 of Derbion, outside River Island and Mango, Derbion’s new Jo Malone London pop-up will remain at the shopping centre until Sunday, December 29.
It will give visitors the chance to shop a range of the brand’s festive scents and gifts. The pop-up will offer shoppers the opportunity to browse and discover much-loved seasonal gifts and products, such as Jo Malone London’s iconic candles, home fragrances and luxury bath and body items.
Plus, any purchases will be expertly wrapped in Jo Malone London’s special gift paper. Jo Malone London is a British cosmetics company, perfume and scented candle brand founded by Jo Malon in London 34 years ago. Beth McDonald, Managing Director of Derbion, said: “We’re delighted that Jo Malone London has chosen Derbion as one of the destinations for its festive pop-up stores across the UK.

“As the only Jo Malone London pop-up in the East Midlands, we’re confident that the festive store will be a real draw for shoppers and visitors will enjoy browsing the brand’s extensive range of luxury products and gifts this Christmas. We’re delighted to welcome the brand back to Derby and following the opening of premium brands in the last 12 months, including Rituals, Castore and White Stuff, the arrival of Jo Malone’s London pop-up marks an exciting time for Derbion.
"We’re looking forward to revealing more news soon.” It comes after the shopping centre announced back in May that more than £5 million was being invested in three major new concept stores for JD, New Look and Ann Summers.
Ann Summers opened its new "enhanced" store back in May, before New Look opened its new 10,000-square-foot store in September. Despite a host of new stores opening in recent months, the large JD store that is set to be "triple" the size of its existing footprint has yet to open, despite a projected Autumn 2024 opening date.
