Joe Wicks has landed himself a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest ever high intensity interval training class.

The Body Coach added another accolade to his growing list of achievements after 3,804 fitness fanatics joined him in London’s Hyde Park on Wednesday evening.

Led by their favourite fitness coach, hoards of people joined Joe for a 30 minute HIIT workout in the 29 degree heat.

Following Joe’s lead, the crowd completed high knees with punches, squats, push ups, rope climbers, reverse lunges and reverse crunches.

He then instructed his fans to ‘Skip watching love island in the week and do a home workout instead.’

Joe also told those who had just helped him achieve a world record to ‘Go enjoy a gin and tonic or glass of wine to celebrate.’

Speaking after his achievement, the fitness guru told The Sun: ‘It’s just amazing I can’t believe I’ve done it.

‘Seeing all those people out there, I was so nervous at first.

‘It’s just so great that these people have come from all over to do this on a Wednesday night.’

He added: ‘Honestly, any amount of books sold or dvd records broken, nothing compares to seeing people do my workouts and feel good after.’
