The 25-year-old hunk hasn’t ruled out returning to the reality TV show two years after he quit.

When asked whether he would ever return to the ITVBe programme, he told OK! Online: “Never say never!”

Joey has been prolific on the reality TV scene since leaving TOWIE, going on to appear in Splash! And I’m A Celebrity in 2013.

While he failed to triumph in either show, he made up for that earlier this year by winning winter sports show The Jump.

Joey beat off strong competition from the likes of former England rugby player Mike Tindall and Commonwealth Games heptathlete gold medallist Louise Hazel.

Following his TV show experience, which includes starring in his own programme Educating Joey Essex, it appears the star now thinks he is capable of running the world after finding out those who do don’t possess any special powers.

He told BANG Showbiz: “I didn’t really realise they were just normal human beings.

"I thought they was meant to be like kings and that and like royal family. When you look at them they run the world almost. I’m exactly the same almost.
"I might as well run the world. All I’m saying is David Cameron runs the world, Joey Essex runs the world, well country.”
