‘Jog on’: Olly Murs slams ‘melts’ who accused him of not knowing the lyrics to Oasis hit Live Forever

Olly Murs has hit back at the “melts” who accused him of singing the wrong lyrics to Live Forever, insisting he knows “every word”.

The Voice judge, 33, was caught singing along to the Oasis hit as part of Liam Gallagher’s surprise tribute to the Manchester bombing victims at the Brit Awards.

But Murs appeared to stumble over the line “maybe I will never be” as the camera panned over him belting out the 90s hit.

The clip was shared by Radio X who accused him of not knowing the lyrics.

Failing to see the funny side, Murs hit back tweeting: “Oh p*** off know every word you melts.”

Adamant that he really does know the words to Live Forever he then posted his own clip of himself singing the song.

He captioned the post: “Slow news day for you melts! Jog on.”
