John Barrowman's emotional moment with his parents leads to tears

With Wednesday's (December 12) I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here: Coming Out giving viewers one last peek at this year's cast, emotions were riding high when John Barrowman was reunited with his parents.

Placing third in the jungle reality show, Barrowman could be seen being driven out of the set and into the arms of his mum and dad. Just as he spotted them from the backseat of the minibus though, the actor burst into tears.

It was a moment of raw emotion and sent viewers into a similar state of mind, with everyone asking where the box of tissues was kept.

Barrowman embraced his mum for a good long while, while his dad waited lovingly for a hug. The Arrow star even reverted back to his Scottish roots by adopting an accent, which was quite... interesting.

The Twitter community completely adored this whole scene as many viewers began to post their appreciation for Barrowman and his parents.

Barrowman has also reflected on his momentary feud with fellow campmate Noel Edmonds, explaining: "I snapped with him because the whole camp, that had a calm situation to begin with, was thrown into upheaval because we now had an emperor and that was change and that freaked me out.

"[My aversion to change] was something I realised about myself after I had a really good conversation with Anne [Hegerty]. If change is thrown in front of me and is done very quickly, it upsets me and freaks me out, so I had to let go more and when change happened, I had to just let it go."
