The Nightly Show has finally give us a viral video as hilarious as Carpool Karaoke, Lip Sync Battle or Drop the Mic… all thanks to John Legend.

The 'All of Me' singer dropped by ITV's troubled attempt at US late-night on Friday (March 31) for a tepid interview with this week's guest host Gordon Ramsay. It's not the interview that anyone cares about though.

The crooner and Britain's most foul-mouthed celebrity chef joined forces for a very unique collaboration, where John Legend set Gordon's meanest NSFW insults to the sweet sound of his piano.

We never expected snarling quips like "There is more olive oil on this than Popeye's dick" or "I'll get you more pumpkin, and I'll ram it right up your f**kin' arse" could sound sexy, but they do. They really do.

The pair even collaborated for one particularly stinging joke, with Legend cooing: "Why did the chicken cross the road?

"Because you didn't f**kin' cook it," Gordon chimed in. Don't quit that day job, Gordy…

The Hell's Kitchen star dropped yet more F-bombs during his final Nightly Show episode, after using the swear a record-setting 16 times in just 30 minutes on Tuesday night.

At least ITV wasn't completely knocked off the air tonight like it was during Gordon's first show on Monday.

The Nightly Show rumbles on all next week at 10pm on ITV with new host Bradley Walsh.
