Yahoo News John Oliver Welcomes a Baby Boy!
John Oliver is a new dad!
A rep for the Last Week Tonight host confirms to ET that the British comedian and his wife, Kate Norley, welcomed a baby boy.
Oliver and Norley wed in 2011 after first meeting while Oliver was covering the 2008 Republican Convention for The Daily Show. Norley is an Iraq War veteran who worked as a medic in the Army.

In the past, Oliver has used his HBO show to address the United States' policy on maternity leave. The host takes issue with the fact that only women who have been employed full-time for more than one year at a company with at least 50 people are entitled to 12 weeks of unpaid leave.
"What that means is that 40 percent of workers are not covered under the federal law," Oliver stated. "So if a worker with no paid leave goes into labor at work, she better hope it's on her lunch hour and that her co-workers don't mind if the break room gets a bit messy."
Thankfully for Norley, she's now enjoying a slower pace of life. After Oliver popped the question in 2010, Norley opened up to People about how her life had changed since her time on active duty.
"Right now it's nice that I get to spend time with the love of my life," she said.
