Boris Johnson has accepted Owen Paterson broke lobbying rules, two weeks after encouraging a bid to save the senior Tory from a House of Commons suspension. The Prime Minister was quizzed before the Liaison Committee by a panel of senior MPs. Johnson said ex-cabinet minister Owen Paterson had "fallen foul of the rules" on lobbying.
