Johnson criticises countries for ‘dragging their heels’ on Paris pledges

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has lashed out at countries who “really should know better” for “dragging their heels” on climate commitments made in Paris. But Mr Johnson said he still believes Cop26 was a success and the target of of limiting global temperature rises to 1.5 degrees remains alive. However Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer said in response that the summit had been a “missed opportunity”.
