Jollyes has revealed when its new Nuneaton store is set to open. The national chain, which has a branch in nearby Coventry, will open its first in the town.

The former home of Curry's PC World opposite Adsa off Newtown Road is currently being fit out by the pet store. A spokesperson told CoventryLive that it should be ready to open its doors by the end of the month.

It will breathe new life into the unit, that has stood empty since Curry's PC World closed in July 2019. Ahead of the opening, Jollyes has launched its hunt for a local pet charity to support.

On its page on Facebook, it states: "Calling all pet parents of Nuneaton! We’re on the hunt to support a local charity of your choice! Nominate the charity you’d like us to support.

"Please remember, only suggest Nuneaton local pet charities within a 20-mile radius of the store." Nominations can be made on the page, entitled Jollyes Nuneaton– The Pet People.

Once open, the store will play home to products as well as experts in its Community Pet Clinic.
