Netflix has announced the cast for Lost Ollie, its heartwarming-sounding limited series about a toy who goes on a cross-country journey to reunite with his owner.
Mindhunter, Glee and Looking star Jonathan Groff will provide the voice for Ollie, a toy dog made up of mismatched elements who is separated from his owner (via Collider). Initially timid and afraid, he will find his bravery on his adventure with the helps of the friends he makes along the way.
If that doesn't sound adorable enough, just look at his little eyes. Just look at them.
Let's hope that when Groff records his dialogue he's got a good pop shield over microphone, as his Hamilton co-stars have joked about him spitting a lot when he performs.
Meanwhile, Power actress and iconic 'Family Affair' hitmaker Mary J Blige will voice Rosy, a fearless warrior bear toy who is similarly patched together from other toys. She will take a while to click with Ollie, but become an indisputable ally over time.
Tim Blake Nelson, star of the Watchmen series and classic Disney movie Holes, will voice a clown named Zozo, a toy who has lived a very long life.
Jane the Virgin star Gina Rodriguez and Jurassic World star Jake Johnson will also provide the voices of Ollie's owner Billy, who will be voiced by newcomer Kesler Talbot.
Production on Lost Ollie, which is based on the William Joyce book Ollie's Odyssey, is currently underway in Canada.
