Jorgie Porter is engaged

Jorgie Porter is engaged to Ollie Piotrowski.

The 33-year-old actress - who is best known for her long-running role as Theresa McQueen in 'Hollyoaks' - has been dating businessman Ollie since 2020 and took to Instagram to reveal that he had popped the question.

In the snap, Ollie gave Jorgie a kiss on the cheek as she smiled at the camera and simply captioned the post: "OMG'".

The couple were then flooded with messages of congratulations from friends and fellow stars, including Jorgie's 'Hollyoaks' co-star Chelsee Healey, who said: "Congratulations", whilst former soap actress Sarah Jayne Dunn added: "ARGHHHH CONGRATULATIONS the best news!"

'Love Island' star Chris Hughes wrote: "Congrats", while former 'Coronation Street' actress Helen Flanagan added: "Oh darling congratulations."

The soap star went public with her relationship in October 2020 when she announced it on Instagram, later going on to gush about being "happy" and "content.

Speaking on her 'Loose Lips' podcast with co-host Samira Mighty she said: "I am just so happy and very content and happy right now. I'm having the best time."

The happy news comes after heartbreak for the couple, who were expecting quadruplets before a devastating miscarriage left the couple in "total shock."

She said at the time: "It didn't make sense. I'd not had any sign that things weren't OK. No pain or bleeding, I was getting bigger, my boobs were growing, I had so much hair on my body and I still felt pregnant. When the consultant performed the scan then said 'You've miscarried', I was in total shock."
