Yahoo News Joseph Gordon-Levitt & his wife welcome their 2nd baby
Congratulations are in order for actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his other half, robotics businesswoman Tasha McCauley.
The couple welcome their second child, another son, back in June.
The Inception star's agent confirmed the news to People, but did not provide details of their newborn's name.
Gordon-Levitt and McCauley are a very private couple, and only confirmed the latter's pregnancy after photos of the pair surfaced that showed her with a baby bump.
The pair, who married at the end of 2014, welcomed their first child into the world the year after, and they haven't publicly revealed his name either.
"My son, he's just a baby, you know?" the actor previously said. "He hasn't made the choice to be in the public eye, and that's a choice that I would like him to be able to make when he's older, when he can think about these kinds of things and make that decision for himself.
"And so, for now, I'm just a protective dad, and I want to protect his privacy."
Last year saw the actor play the role of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, and admitted he was "starstruck" upon meeting Snowden in Moscow.
"I don't get easily starstruck but sitting with this guy was a whole different thing," he told The Graham Norton Show.
"This is a guy that risked his life to stand up for what he believes in and make the world a better place. I believe my kid is going to grow up in a better world because of what he did."
