Journalists Run for Cover as Shells Rain Down in Siversk, Ukraine
Strikes on Siversk, in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, injured two people and narrowly missed journalists working for Radio Free Europe on July 20.
This footage shows journalist Borys Sachalko talking to a resident about evacuating while the resident pleads for food. After explosions are heard in the distance, the reporters flee the scene.
A man and an elderly woman were wounded during the strikes and transported to a safer location for medical treatment.
There is no gas, electricity, or water in the town, but over 3,000 people have chosen not to evacuate, according to reporting by Radio Free Europe. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty via Storyful
