Joy Behar gets text from “View” cohost Ana Navarro telling her to fix her pants: ‘You look like Urkel’
Ana Navarro texted Joy Behar during ‘The View’ to tell her to fix her pants because she looked ‘like Urkel’: ‘They’re riding all the way up to your boobs.’
The View’s Ana Navarro is critiquing co-host Joy Behar’s fashion choices from beyond the Hot Topics table.
Toward the end of Thursday’s episode, Behar revealed that Navarro, who was absent from the talk show, had texted her during a break to share her thoughts on the black shirt and red pants that she was wearing.
“I got a text from Ana Navarro during the [commercials] and she goes, ‘Pull your pants down. They’re riding all the way up to your boobs,’” Behar told her co-hosts. “She said, ‘You look like Urkel.’”
Steve Urkel, played by Jaleel White, was a character on the hit '90s ABC sitcom Family Matters who was best known for sporting signature high-waisted pants, suspenders, and large glasses.
The rest of the table quickly came to their co-host's defense, noting that Behar’s pants were simply "high-waisted." Sunny Hostin added, "They're fine."
In response to Navarro’s comments, Behar then stood and comedically pulled her pants up even higher than they were before. “How’s this, Ana?” she asked, placing her hands on her hips and then doing a little dance as everyone began to laugh. “Like this better, Ana?”
After fixing her pants, Behar remarked, "The girl is trolling me, okay?"
She then pointed toward the camera and added, "I'll see you tomorrow, Ana."
