Jude Bellingham and mum's instant reaction to seeing stunning £5.5m property for first time
Jude Bellingham and his devoted mum had quite different reactions when they first toured his swish £5.5million home in Madrid.
The former Birmingham City star, 21, has premiered the first instalment of his YouTube series titled 'Out of the Floodlights', which offers peek into his personal life. The opening episode, 'Casa Blanca', kicks off with Jude's final days at Borussia Dortmund, where their Bundesliga title hopes were dashed by Bayern Munich on the season's last day, followed by his transfer to Real Madrid.
Following a glamorous introduction in the iconic white strip at the Bernabeu, footage captures Jude house-hunting with his mother Denise, father Mark and brother Jobe, who plays for Sunderland, by his side. Stepping into the abode, located within Madrid's exclusive La Finca area, Denise comments on the intense heat of the Spanish summer, remarking: "It's extremely hot, he's going to be sweltering."

Jude seemingly has no such concerns as he tests out the lift inside the property. Taken aback by its sluggishness, he amusingly quips: "I thought it would go 'zoom'." He then proceeds to inspect the mansion's exterior, eyeing a fire pit and envisioning future gatherings, saying: "Get a table there, some cards."
Visibly taken with the residence, he weighs up making an offer, adding: "I don't want to go in too early then see something better, but I don't want to walk away and see 'sold'. It is nice, really nice."
The property reportedly boasts state-of-the-art amenities, including a gym, home theatre, gourmet kitchen, private pool and stunning views of Lafinka Golf Club and mountain range. His former Real Madrid team-mate Toni Kroos and Cristiano Ronaldo are also believed to own properties nearby.
Denise relocated to Madrid to help her son handle life in a new country. She shares the 7,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home with Jude and proudly plays mum, cooking him meals and driving him to training.
During one clip Jobe joked that Jude was 'useless' and that if he learned how to cook, his mum could remain at home. Instead, it is father Mark, 48, who has stayed at home to be close by Jobe.
The episode also focuses on Jobe’s move from Blues to Sunderland, where the family are again present for his unveiling. Reflecting on his journey from Blues to Madrid, Jude says: "Three years from Birmingham to Madrid isn't bad."
Explaining his reasoning for producing an inside look at his life, Jude explains: “If it helps people to get to know me better, that’s great. If people are still unhappy then… [shrugs shoulders].”
Upcoming episodes will spotlight his remarkable debut season with Real, where he clinched both the La Liga title and the Champions League, defeating his previous club Dortmund in the Wembley final.
