Sunderland's ace talent Jobe Bellingham has been showered with praise by his brother – Real Madrid and England star, Jude. The Black Cats’ youngster is set to stay at the Stadium of Light which is great news for him and fans who love the 18-year-old.

It came after Sunderland were subject to more than one bid from Premier League club Crystal Palace while others were interested in the teenager, ahead of the 2024/25 season.

This season-changing news coming out of Wearside may be enough to potentially divert future Premier League bids for their stars, as Sunderland try to keep hold of the likes of Anthony Patterson and Dan Neil – although Jack Clarke is expected to leave. Whatever the future of those players, Bellingham will stay on Wearside.

Sunderland’s Bellingham has been praised by his brother Jude, with the Real Madrid midfielder taking to the England Youtube channel to say: “I think my brother [is my biggest fan] yeah I think I’m his and he’s mine so I think it’s that simple really.

“Before every game I always have a message from him, and every game he plays I always make sure I message him. We couldn’t be closer really.

“He has a really good mentality, thinks like me, he’s a really good young player um so I get a lot from him as well you know.”

Both Bellingham brothers started their professional careers at Birmingham City, before forging their career elsewhere.
