She wrote: "Last week, [KSI] found himself in hot water after using a racial slur against people of South Asian origin in an online video recording of a game.

"This incident is a reminder that words are never just words. This type of language endorses hatred and violence against a particular group of people, and it needs to stop."

Since the YouTube video came out, KSI has twice apologised and has also visited a mosque in Bradford.

My ignorance has only reinforced the negative stereotypes that have existed for way too long in this country."

The popular content creator has also insisted he will continue to educate himself on South Asian history and culture.

A man who attends the mosque KSI went to spoke to the BBC about meeting with the rapper: "It's educating him. He must not [have] realised it's a hurtful thing to hear. We're taught in Islam to forgive. So he's reached out and we've drawn a line."
