Ally Lotti, the girlfriend of late rapper Juice WRLD, has shared some of the love letters he wrote to her to mark the one-year anniversary of his death.

The Chicago musician died on 8 December 2019 of an accidental overdose, at the age of 21.

Speaking to XXL, Lotti shared the personal letters from Juice, real name Jarad Higgins, which were written while he was on tour with Nicki Minaj in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The first letter is written to her, and reads: “You are: my sanity, my safe haven, my first and last true love, my BFF, my home… You are my everything.”

Another letter was intended to be read by the artist’s fans, revealed Lotti.

“I’ve been broken 4 so long without repair,” it reads. “You fixed me permanently… So I cannot let you out my [sight]. You are my [umbrella] when it’s raining, you keep me dry from my own tears and the tears of the world.”

Lotti revealed that Juice had hidden the letters in her wallet, and she had only come across them inadvertently while paying for the outfit she wore to his funeral.

On Twitter, she also shared screenshots of text correspondence between the two of them.

In the year since the artist’s passing, his posthumously released album, Legends Never Die, reached No 1 in the UK charts.
