Julian Assange's cat spotted wearing shirt collar and tie at Ecuadorian Embassy
Have you ever wondered how Julian Assange fills his days?
The controversial WikiLeaks founder has been living in the Ecuadorian Embassy since August 2012, in order to avoid arrest.
Yesterday, when the media descended on the building in central London, they seemed to get an answer.
His cat was photographed in the window — dressed in a shirt collar and a candy-striped tie.
The feline, who was given to the 45-year-old by his children, first appeared wearing a simple cat collar, then disappeared and returned looking dapper.
Swedish authorities arrived at the embassy on Monday to quiz Assange over a rape allegation.
He believes he will be extradited to the US if he leaves the building and face arrest over WikiLeaks’ activities.
He was granted asylum by Ecuador in 2012.
Guillaume Long, the country’s foreign minister, has welcomed the decision by Sweden to visit Assange in the embassy.

He said: “We are pleased that the Swedish authorities will finally interview Mr Assange in our embassy in London.
“This is something that Ecuador has been inviting the Swedish prosecutors to do ever since we granted asylum to Mr Assange in 2012.”
The cat even has its own Twitter account. The bio reads: “I live in the Ecuadorian Embassy with Julian Assange. Interested in counter-purrveillance”
The cat appears to share the politics of its owner. Its last two tweets are critical of Hillary Clinton…
