Jumanji trailer: Dwayne Johnson fights back tears, Kevin Hart explodes and the board game returns in new action-packed teaser

Kevin Hart explodes into a fire ball after chowing down on a barm cake in the new Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle trailer.

The second look at the upcoming film promises hours of action after Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan and Jack Black get sucked into a computer game in the modern day sequel to the 1995 classic.

Set to Guns and Roses’ Welcome to the Jungle, the two and a half minute teaser kicks off with a glimpse of the original Jumanji board game being dug up on a beach before four teens are sucked into a TV screen and transformed into the avatars they chose.

They are each granted three lives and made aware of their strengths and weaknesses. Johnson has no weaknesses while Hart’s is cake, something he forgets about when taking a bite out of a barm and blowing up.

The latest clip also sees Gillan outrunning gun-fire, Hart riding an elephant and Black freaking out after catching site of his appearance.

Nick Jonas and Rhys Darby also star.

Junamji will be a sequel to the 1995 film of the same name which starred Kirsten Dunst and the late Robin Williams.

It followed Alan Parish (Williams), Sarah Whittle (Bonnie Hunt) and Judy and Peter Shepherd (Dunst and Bradley Pierce) as they attempted to finish a board game which was started in 1969.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is slated for release this Christmas.
