Just 27% of Americans think Trump will definitely serve a full term as President, poll finds

Only around a quarter of Americans believe Donald Trump will “definitely” complete his first term as president, according to a new poll.

The poll, done by USA Today and iMediaEthics, found 27 per cent of adults think Mr Trump will “definitely will complete” his four-year term, while 30 per cent think he “probably will”.

Meanwhile, with many believing Mr Trump could be impeached before he completes his first term, the poll found that 23 per cent of Americans think Mr Trump “probably will not” see out four years.

Around 13 per cent of those questioned were certain he would not.

Six months after Mr Trump entered the White House, a little over half of those questioned said they were dissatisfied with the way he was doing the job, with 44 per cent saying they approved.

The poll also found that Americans are split on whether they believed Mr Trump ought to be impeached, with those who responding split 42-42.

Around 70 per cent of Democrats said the President should be impeached, as did 36 per cent of independents. Just 15 per cent felt he should face such action.
