It’s not been a good week for Paul Hollywood. Hot on the heels of his divorce from estranged wife, Alex, comes the news that his new love, girlfriend of two years, Summer Monteys-Fullam, has called quits on their relationship too.

A report in The Sun, states that the reason behind the split is the chef’s insistence on his girlfriend signing a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

The NDA would basically prevent the former barmaid from discussing her relationship with The Great British Bake Off presenter.

The newspaper reported that a source close to Monteys-Fullam stated that “She felt like she couldn’t even tell her family what was happening in her relationship. She decided enough was enough.”

Feeling the trust was gone, the keen equestrian then decided to move home to her mother’s in Kent.

Tom Amlot, Hollywood’s solicitor confirmed the split to the Mirror.

He said, "I asked Summer to sign an NDA as is standard practice in order to protect Paul's family and their private lives.

"Summer insisted that she had no intention of selling any stories to the press and declined.

"I think that her refusal to discuss or sign it caused concern, understandably, so it's not entirely surprising that they have gone their separate ways."

So far Monteys-Fullam has stayed silence on the subject. In her last Instagram post seven days ago, Summer was all smiles. The caption reads, “I trust the next chapter because I know the author!”

Other Instagrammers were quick to comment on the photo following the news of the split.

What.if.everyday.i.did wrote, “If it’s true about the NDA then good for you girl for not signing it. What if he was mentally or physically hurting you and you’re not allowed to tell your Mum!!!!”

With a43920000737 adding, “If today's press is true, well done you for getting out of a controlling and narcissistic situation. Have a great life x”
