Justin Bieber lashes out at cruel troll who claims he 'married Hailey Baldwin to get back at Selena Gomez'

Justin Bieber has hit out at an Instagram troll who slammed his marriage to Hailey Baldwin and accused him of using her to “get back at Selena Gomez”.

The user left a comment on Bieber’s recent upload of his model wife relaxing on their bed. They claimed that Bieber “is not in love” with Baldwin before brandishing other insults in her direction.

Bieber, 25, defended his wife, 22, from the attack, admitting that he doesn’t usually respond to trolls and “will never again” but wanted to use the opportunity to “reply to all the sick people who send her hurtful messages”.

“Ur [sic] immature the fact that you have an account dedicated to dissing my wife and I is absolutely absurd,” the Baby singer wrote. “Anyone who believes this is mean spirited or 10 years old or younger because a logical person doesn't talk or think this way u should be ashamed of yourself really.”

He went on to say that he was “head over heels” with his wife, who he wed late last year, and that trolls “what’s good for him”.

Directly addressing mentions of Gomez, Bieber wrote: “I absolutely loved Selena she will always hold a place in my heart.

“But I am head over heals [sic] in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has happened to me period.”

The star also shared the comment on his Instagram story, along with his lengthy reply, pleading with fans not to send himself and Baldwin any more hate.

Baldwin last week hit out at Bieber’s army of fans for “wanting to see their relationship fail”.

“I don't know if it's because they want to be able to say, ‘I told you so' or because they want to be right, I don't really know what the idea is behind trying to tear somebody's relationship down, or person down, whatever it may be," she told Cosmopolitan.

“The problem too is kids become possessive over people and feel like if they think they're hurt, they feel hurt for them and they're hurt too, or whatever it is.”

Bieber recently used Instagram to update his fans on his mental health – having recently admitted he was “struggling a lot” – and revealed he was taking a break from music.

He said that he had put his career on hold in order to focus on “repairing some deep rooted issues” to allow him to “sustain his marriage”.
