Star Wars: The Last Jedi finished filming in 2016, and you would think that we would know the film's full cast by now... but you might be wrong.
Reliable rumour-mongers Making Star Wars are reporting that Justin Theroux has a small but "pivotal" role in Rian Johnson's Episode 8.
The Leftovers star will allegedly play an "expert slicer" (Star Wars lingo for a computer hacker).
He will apparently be seen in a white tuxedo jacket over a black outfit, hanging around a casino setting that was partially shot in Dubrovnik. Other than some sort of explosion, we don't know what that sequence or Theroux's role will involve.
If Theroux does indeed appear, he will be reuniting with another Star Wars newcomer and fellow David Lynch favourite, Laura Dern. The pair appeared together in Lynch's last major feature, 2006's Inland Empire.
Benicio del Toro and Kelly Marie Tran are also joining the Last Jedi cast in unknown roles.
Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis are returning to the follow-up to JJ Abrams's The Force Awakens.
And of course, The Last Jedi will feature one of the last performances from the late, great Carrie Fisher.
Theroux's upcoming movies include Duncan Jones's long-awaited science fiction mystery Mute.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 15.
