Following the news on Blackpink’s Lisa contracting the coronavirus, K-pop boy band Pentagon’s Kino also tested positive for COVID-19, according to a press release by the group’s management agency Cube Entertainment on Thursday (25 November).

“Kino was confirmed to have contracted COVID-19, and we took necessary measures in accordance with guidelines by the health authorities,” said Cube Entertainment.

They explained that as a preemptive measure, they conducted the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests on all employees and visitors to the company's headquarters, after an external instructor, who visited the company, tested positive for the coronavirus the day before (24 November).

Cube Entertainment added that Pentagon members Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo One, Yan An, Yuto and Wooseok have received negative results. It has not been confirmed whether their subsequent activities will be affected.
