The 2021 Screen Actors Guild Awards (or the SAG Awards, if you like) took place virtually last night, with awards being handed to a refreshingly diverse range of people across movies and television.
Kaley Cuoco was nominated for the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series award, for her critically-acclaimed performance in dark comedy The Flight Attendant.
The Big Bang Theory star was in the running against Linda Cardellini and Christina Applegate for Dead To Me, and Schitt's Creek stars Annie Murphy and Catherine O'Hara.
In the end, it was O'Hara who won the prize for her iconic performance as the wig-loving walking dictionary Moira Rose, and Cuoco has taken the loss well.
"Goodnight and thank you @sagawards! Wow am I grateful to be a freakin actor. Now to continue binging my favorite show," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a winking face emoji.
The video in the post showed her in a hot pink dress, with a bottle of booze in one hand and some sort of canned cocktail in the other, heading back to bed to watch an episode of the Canadian comedy series, specifically the episode where Moira is away filming The Crows Have Eyes III: The Crowening. What can we say, we're big fans.
Although she didn't win, the show has been a big success, and Cuoco has teased what her character get upto in season 2.
The Flight Attendant is available on HBO Max in the US and Sky One and NOW in the UK.
