Kamala Harris Dances With Campaign Staff After Ending Presidential Bid

Democratic Sen. Kamala Harris of California was filmed dancing with staff at her presidential campaign headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday, December 3, hours after she announced she was ending her presidential bid.

Lily Adams, Harris’s communications director, shared footage on Tuesday night of the senator dancing in a choreographed routine to Before I Let Go by Beyoncé.

Harris announced on Tuesday that she was suspending her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, citing a lack of “financial resources” to continue in the race.

“I’m not a billionaire. I can’t fund my own campaign. And as the campaign has gone on, it’s become harder and harder to raise the money we need to compete,” Harris said in a statement.

Harris’s withdrawal from the race came after months of low poll numbers. She was seeking to become the first African American woman to win the presidential nomination for a major party. Credit: Lily Adams via Storyful
