It didn’t appear a very fair fight when Boo the red kangaroo took on Barnie the smaller Eastern grey at a wildlife shelter in New South Wales recently.
Luckily, though, the encounter was described by a staff member at the Warrumbungle Wildlife Shelter as a “friendly” fight, as seven-foot Boo spared with the smaller Barnie.
“Mates having a spar. Kangaroos by nature are not aggressive,” the wildlife shelter wrote on Facebook.
“These two boys are just having a friendly spar before the heat sets in later. I just love how gentle my big boy Boo is with the smaller Eastern grey Barnie,” the post said. Credit: Warrumbungle Wildlife Shelter via Storyful
