Kanye West cancels LA show just three hours before start

Is Kanye West okay?

The day after he sensationally walked off stage 30 minutes into his Sacramento gig on Saturday night, the star cancelled his Los Angeles show – just three hours before he was expected on stage.

The gig at The Forum had already been rescheduled after he cut his set at the same venue short on November 3rd due to a sore throat, but it looks like peeved fans won’t be getting a second reschedule.

With no explanation as to why he cancelled the show, a message on The Forum’s Twitter page simply read: “Tonight’s show has been cancelled. Refund at point of purchase”.

The move has sparked concern among fans as Kanye was behaving more erratically than usual on Saturday night, asking former pal Jay Z not to kill him as he urged the rapper to call him.

Kanye and Jay Z have always appeared to be the best of friends.

Ranting to his fans just half an hour into the show, the father-of-two seethed: “Jay Z I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head.

“Just call me—talk to me like a man.”

Referencing his infamous feud with Taylor Swift, which kickstarted in 2009 after he stormed the VMAs stage to say that Beyonce should have won the award that Taylor had nabbed, Kanye also moaned: “Beyonce I was hurt, I went down for seven years on your behalf. I put my career, my life, my public well-standing at risk. This is a moment in the matrix.

Kanye famously defended Beyonce's honour at the 2009 VMAs.

“I heard you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over ‘Hotline Bling’. In my opinion, now don’t go dissing Beyonce, she’s great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people.

“But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forget who we are – just to win. F**k winning, f**k looking cool, f**k being cool.

“At the risk of my own success, I’ve been sent here, at the risk of my own life, at the risk of my own career, to give ya’ll the truth.”

Last week Kanye also stunned fans when he admitted that he didn’t vote in the recent US election, but if he did he would have supported controversial President-elect Donald Trump.

Whatever’s going on, we truly hope that Kanye is okay.
