Kanye West Given Four Minutes To Do Whatever He Wants At MTV's VMAS

Taylor Swift better watch out, controversial rapper Kanye West has been given four minutes by MTV to do whatever he wants at Sunday night’s Video Music Awards.

Is it just us or is that seriously exciting?

Show producers are reportedly expecting “something big” from ‘Ye and have allocated him a four minute performance slot after giving him completely free reign at the ceremony.

Sources have told TMZ that the star can do absolutely anything - rap, sing, dance or even stay silent - and Kanye has been tantilising show bosses by keeping totally schtum about his performance plans.

Many are speculating that Kanye might be planning to get some kind of own back on Taylor after his wife, Kim Kardashian, exposed that the singer had lied when she claimed that Kanye hadn’t sought her approval for his hit song 'Famous’.

Kim released audio footage of Taylor laughing about the lyrics 'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ I made that b*tch famous’, with the star calling them “obviously tongue and cheek” and saying that she found them funny.

However, at the Grammys earlier this year Tay told the media that she thought the lyrics were “misogynistic” and slammed Kanye for discrediting her work.

Awkward.

Kanye has a history of controversial appearances at awards’ shows, previously sending ITV into meltdown when he performed at the Brit Awards and they struggled to censor his x-rated performance.

He also gave an eleven-minute acceptance speech at last year’s VMAs after he was awarded with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, ending the infamous speech with the shock announcement that he will be running for president in 2020.

Needless to say, we are preparing for absolutely anything to happen at the ceremony on Sunday.
