Kanye West hires Kenny G to play for Kim Kardashian in a room full of roses for Valentine's Day

Kanye West went all out for Valentine’s Day by hiring renowned saxophonist Kenny G to play for his beau Kim in their living room surrounded by roses.

The US rapper hired the musician to perform in their Hidden Hills home in California, in a spectacular show of love to his wife.

Kim certainly seemed pleased with the treat, and tweeted: “Best husband award goes to mine!!!! Most thoughtful gifts ever!!!!”

Prior to this, she wrote: “NO BIG DEAL KENNY G IN MY LIVING ROOM!!! Happy Valentines Day.”

The star also shared a video of the musician, whose full name is Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, showcasing a rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow for her.

As Kenny G performed, he stood amongst a vast array of roses lined out in individual glasses at his feet.

In an Instagram story, Kanye can be seen beaming as he wears a grey sweater and looks on at his wife watching the performance.

The Kardashian sister’s 59.5million followers on twitter had a mixed reaction to the performance, many of them seeming to be simply confused by it.

A number questioned how Kenny G would get out of the room without knocking over the myriad of flowers surrounding him, while also questioning where all the furniture from the room was.

Others called it “ridiculous” while some congratulated Kanye on his romanticism.

One wrote: “Omg this is so amazing!!!! Kanye just stepped up the game for men everywhere lol.”

Kim and Kanye have been married since 2014 and they have three children together.

Kenny G is a 62-year-old musician and found commercial success with his 1986 album Duotones.

He has sold more than 75million records over the course of his career.
