Kanye West Is ‘Doing Great’ According To Pal French Montana

Kanye West is ‘doing great’ following his hospitalisation, according to his good friend – rapper French Montana.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Montana – who collaborated with Kanye in the past – said: “He’s doing great. He’s a, he’s a strong guy,”

“He’s been through a lot and you know, this is just another hurdle in the way, you know what I’m saying?”

"I mean, I love everything he been doing, man. I feel like he’s speaking the truth, you know what I’m saying? I’m with him, that’s my big brother.”

Kanye was released from the hospital last week, after recovering from sleep deprivation and exhaustion – resulting in erratic behaviour at recent performances.

Montana – who dated Kanye’s sister-in-law, Khloe Kardashian, said that he had love for 'all the family’: "Yeah, I mean I love them all. They’re all my friends, forever - for life. That’s my family, you know, forever.”

Reports have now emerged that Kanye wants to perform at this year’s Grammy Awards, following claims he’d boycott the show.

The 39-year-old rapper has thrown himself back into his work after seeking treatment earlier this month and now wants “nothing more” than to get on stage at the awards bash next year.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: “[Kanye] wants a spot on the Grammy stage, he is telling everyone that will listen that he wants nothing more than to be onstage at the show and perform something new.”

The report comes after the Bound 2 hitmaker claimed earlier this year that he would boycott the awards after Frank Ocean’s albums Blonde and Endless were not considered for nominations because they missed the submission deadline.
