Kanye West Was Worried He Wasn't 'Cool Enough' To Date Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are arguably one of the coolest couples in showbiz, so imagine our surprise when we heard that famously-cocky Kanye used to worry that he wasn’t “cool” enough to date the reality star.

We mean, we can’t imagine uber-confident Yeezy being insecure about anything.

The pair are now happily married and mum and dad to two children, three-year-old North and eight-month-old Saint, but the rapper has now admitted that he didn’t think he’d ever see the day.

Speaking to E! News he explained: “Her [spirit] was there even before she was my girlfriend.

"I would do these performances and hope that she would see me in my cool outfit and think that I would be cool enough to be her boyfriend.”

Thankfully Kim decided that Kanye was definitely worthy.

The star went on to add that he is grateful that his family are able to join him on the road after he kicked off his Saint Pablo tour last week, continuing: “To be able to see my daughter and my son and my wife, it’s amazing.

"I feel extremely blessed and I’d like to do everything I can to give as dope a performance, give all of that energy to the crowd, have people have as good as time as possible and feel inspired.”

Unfortunately there aren’t yet any UK dates for Kanye’s tour, but we are keeping our fingers crossed that he’ll be adding some very soon!
