Kanye West wore $150 Yeezy slippers to 2 Chainz wedding and you can buy yourself a pair right now

On Saturday, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West attended the star-studded wedding of rapper 2 Chainz to his longtime girlfriend Kesha Ward.

As usual, the power couple made sure to make an entrance, arriving at Gianni Versace's Mansion in Miami in a neon green Mercedes. Kim emerging in a fluorescent figure-hugging dress which, for the second time that week, matched her car.

While Kim's ensemble definitely made it hard for her to be out-shone, her husband, Kanye, managed to steal the show. Or, more specifically, his choice of footwear did.

Although from the knee upwards Kanye looked very dapper, wearing a pale green suit, subtly emblazoned with the Louis Vuitton emblem and custom-made by Virgil Abloh. The singer chose to finish off the luxe outfit with an unusual footwear combination: socks and slides.

Unsurprisingly, the bizarre grandad-inspired shoes, complete with Velcro straps, are from Kanye's brand, Yeezy, and are currently available to purchase.

Available for both men and women the 'Nylon Slipper' comes in three earthy shades: taupe, oxblood and graphite - and retail for $150.

Kanye's choice of the slipper in taupe seem to be a popular choice and they are currently out of stock.

And it seems even Kanye couldn't get hold of a pair in his size, as close-ups show his feet hanging over the back of the too-small slides.

The slides and suit combo was definitely a memorable look but, perhaps, stick to wearing them at the beach next time, Kanye.
