Yahoo News Kate Garraway is reunited with Caitlyn Jenner on Good Morning Britain
Caitlyn Jenner was virtually reunited with Kate Garraway on Good Morning Britain for the first time since the pair appeared together on I’m a Celebrity.
The presenter took to Instagram yesterday (3 August) to share with her followers that Caitlyn was appearing, and posted a picture of the pair together after coming out of the jungle.
She wrote: “My first breakfast on leaving the #jungle with @caitlynjenner – back then she joked when she next came on @gmb I would be the only interviewer she’s ever showered with! She’s on @gmb live tomorrow & we can’t even be in the same room let alone shower together! Can’t wait to catch up with her though & find out what’s going on in her world & hear her take on her son in law #kanyewest. Plus of course all the days news & an update on Derek. Join me & @benshephardofficial tomorrow at 6 on @itv.”

Speaking to Kate on the show, Caitlyn did joke about showering together. She laughed: "You are the first interviewer that I’ve ever done that I’ve slept with and showered with. Kate, you and I have done it all! You know way too much about me. I just want to know if I’m the first guest you’ve ever slept with and showered with? Maybe you shouldn’t answer that!”
The pair talked about how Caitlyn was meant to appear on the show back in March but had to quickly head back to the US before lockdown rules set in.
Talking about quarantine, Caitlyn said: “I have talked to James and Jacqueline through this whole thing and the jungle was sounding very good. It was not easy to go through but dealing with a bunch of crickets and having to eat a cow’s eyeball considering what the world, not just us, is going through right now, seems like nothing. It was a great experience to go through, the best part [of the jungle], I met some great friends like yourself. We just have to get through his thing right now.”
She continued: “I was just watching your news stuff before I came on, you guys are saying the same thing we are saying here in the US, about opening up, about closing, about this and that. There is just so much uncertainty in the world. I love working and being out there and doing things and not having the opportunity to do that, and so many other people not having the opportunity to do that, it’s tough on everybody.”
She revealed she has spent a lot of time on the golf course as well as being with family, explaining: “Yes, that has been good. I have a lot of grandchildren, 18 of them. I would like to see more of them. But still at least you have the opportunity to do this. The golf game is very good right now. I spend a lot of time on the golf course. My house has never been cleaner and my property has never been in better shape, because that is what I do… I am very good at keeping myself busy. That’s been good. But I just like working and I just like doing things.”
Asked about Kanye West and his bid to become President, she said: “Well, honestly I don’t know. Since all of this has come down, I have just kind of watched it just like everybody else. I haven’t had a chance [to speak to him], he is living up in Wyoming most of the time.
"So, I just wish him the best. I made that as a joke about being his VP when he announced that. But I hope for the best for him. He’s a really good guy.
“The only thing I can talk about is really how he treated me through everything and he has been the most kind, loving human being and so good to me throughout the years and especially going through everything I’ve been going through in the last five years. He’s been such a good friend.”
She added: “He has been extremely supportive. Kanye has got a big heart… he’s a good person.”
Signing off, she sent love to Kate's family and said it was lovely to “hear her voice”.
