Kate Middleton 'filled with horror' over how Prince William's spending spare time
Prince William has returned to an activity that reportedly "fills Princess Kate Middleton with horror". Prince William, the heir to the Royal Family throne, rekindled his former motorcycling passion during a visit to Northern Ireland yesterday, albeit in virtual form.
The Prince of Wales, aged 42, who is a massive Aston Villa fan, took to a stationary motorbike at Ulster University's Virtual Production Studio in Belfast, where he experienced a simulated ride through what appeared to be the Arizona desert.
"Any excuse to get on a motorbike!" he said. "I love that exhaust," he commented as he dismounted, praising the experience as "incredibly realistic." The virtual ride marked a nostalgic return to a hobby the prince gave up in 2018 for family reasons.

"I'm a dad of three. I have to tone it down," he explained during a visit to the Isle of Man that year, adding: "I miss the big trips. For me, biking was always about being with everybody else." It comes after Kate admitted she was left "horrified" by the pastime.
"He's still riding it," she said at the time. "It always fills me with horror when he goes out on it. I'm terrified." She also hoped to keep their eldest son away from motorcycles, stating: "Hopefully I'm going to keep George off of it."
The future king, 42, was very into motorbikes when he was younger and even owned his own Ducati 1199, an Italian-manufactured sports bike with a top speed of 177mph. As well as riding with friends, his passion was also used as a way for the prince to carry out his royal duties, with both William and his brother Harry taking part in a motorcycle rally around South Africa in 2008 to raise money for charity.
As well as George, Kate and Wills share Charlotte and Louis.
