Kate Middleton and Prince William have "made their feelings clear" to King Charles as a Prince Harry reunion "hangs in the balance". Kate and Prince William have made their feelings clear to King Charles regarding how important they feel spending time with him.

Royal Family commentator Jennie Bond praised Kate and William's decision to visit King Charles in Scotland earlier this month and explained how Charles and Kate will have a special bond as they have both been receiving treatment for cancer in 2024.

"Their visit underlines how important they feel it is to spend time with Charles," she said. "It's been a few weeks since they've been together and I'm sure Prince William in particular feels he wants to stay in close touch with his papa particularly as the King continues his cancer treatment."

Bond continued: "Catherine and Charles share a truly special bond, undoubtedly strengthened by their shared experience with cancer. So, it's not so much Scotland's enchanting allure that drew them this time, but rather her and William's desire to spend quality time with the King."

Harry is unlikely to meet with his father King Charles on his next visit to the UK. The Duke of Sussex will be in London on Monday to attend the national 2024 WellChild Awards, an event organised by the charity which helps seriously ill children.

Editor of The Daily Beast Tom Sykes confirmed that it is unknown whether a meeting will go ahead, however he said it is more likely that the pair will not get together on Harry’s brief return to his home country. He wrote in The Sunday Times: “Neither side would definitively tell me whether a meeting is planned on this trip, but all the indications so far are that it is not.

“The King is in Scotland, gathering his strength for a forthcoming trip to Australia. The Queen, her friends have told me, is keen that Charles doesn’t get unnecessarily stressed out and is not encouraging a meeting. For Harry, there can be no meaningful rehabilitation as a royal without reconciliation. His father’s recent health scare has added a sense of urgency to that quest.”
