Kate Middleton and Prince William unite to issue joint statement after 'brutal' period
Kate Middleton and Prince William have issued a joint update after a "brutal" year for the pair. William has described the past 12 months, which has seen wife Kate and dad King Charles III both diagnosed with cancer, as "brutal".
But now Prince William and mum-of-three Catherine have shared a joint update, as they shared their highlights from the past 23 months on Twitter/X together. The 14 thread X post reposted videos from their public appearances with the caption "Welcome to the November Rewind".
The Princess of Wales also teased her upcoming Christmas Carol Service, which is "just around the corner," urging fans to "stay tuned." "Welcome to the November Rewind," the thread began, adding: "Starting the month in Cape Town with @EarthshotPrize."

At the time, the pair typed: "What a week ahead we have here for the fourth annual @EarthshotPrize Awards and the @united4wildlife Summit. We can't wait to share it with you." They added: "Inspiring change for a sustainable future. Kicking the week off with young climate leaders from across Africa and Southeast Asia, gathering here in Cape Town for the first @EarthshotPrize Youth Programme."
"Over four days, these future leaders will hone their skills in climate action, storytelling, and leadership. Together, they’re creating the solutions our planet needs," they said. Another update revealed: "In case you missed it, last week @united4wildlife announced a landmark package of support for rangers and others playing a critical role in nature protection.
"Launched together with @tusk_org and Game Rangers Association of Africa, the first of its kind, five-year financial package will provide rangers across Africa with affordable insurance and medical evacuation cover together with opportunities for leadership training and development."
And reflecting on Remembrance Day, the tweet said: "On Remembrance Sunday, we come together to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who have served and continue to serve in our Armed Forces. Let us pause, reflect, and remember them always. Lest We Forget."
