Kate Middleton's 'amazing' surprise for George, Charlotte and Louis during summer holidays
Sightings of the Wales family during their private time are a rarity, but holidaymakers were in for a treat when Princess Kate and her children were seen enjoying a casual outing over the summer break.
The family, who spent much of their holiday at Anmer Hall, their Norfolk residence, delighted locals by visiting a popular seaside spot in August, according to HELLO!
A vacation homeowner speaking with UK holiday provider Parkdean Resorts shared their surprise at seeing Kate with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis at Eric's Fish and Chip Shop in Thornham, Norfolk.

The astonished local said: "I was amazed when I arrived at Eric's in Thornham and spotted Kate and the kids. We've been regulars at Eric's for a while, so it's fantastic to see the word spreading about how great it is. It is now officially 'fit for a royal!"
The Duchess and her children aren't alone in their fondness for fish and chips; Queen Camilla also expressed her love for the British classic. In a conversation with her son Tom Parker Bowles for YOU Magazine, she confessed her favourite takeaway is "Freshly cooked fish and chips, wrapped in paper," adding, "That smell. You cannot beat proper fish and chips."
Even the late Queen enjoyed the classic seaside dish, famously ordering fish and chips during her stays at Balmoral Castle. A source disclosed to Fabulous that on occasion, "She very occasionally treated herself to fish and chips when at Balmoral. A footman is dispatched to get it from the local town of Ballater.", reports the Mirror.
Hello magazine shared a delightful snippet of Royal cuisine habits: "Her Majesty was known to enjoy a kebab now and again." Jayne Seymour, a Royal correspondent for Hello, reported that the takeaway shop Krazy Kebabs in Swaffham sent a delivery order by phone to Sandringham House.
The revelation came from the delivery driver himself who told Jayne: "I assumed the food was for a servant. But when I got to the entrance a butler took it and said it was for the Queen. I hope she enjoyed it we are known for the best kebabs in Norfolk."
In 2017, Princess Kate discussed her favourite takeaway choice with BBC Radio 1, alongside Prince William. She expressed a preference for curry, divulging: "Curry, definitely," although she noted Prince William didn't share in this because he isn't keen on spicy dishes.
They went on to say, often their takeaway orders are collected, not delivered, as they explained: "It doesn't usually get ordered to the palace, we tend to go and pick it up," and then added in jest, "not ourselves!"
