The pair can be seen giggling together as they lie on a beach, with Kate's arms wrapped around William, showing the world that they remain united against their recent health struggles.

Kate said: "Life as you know it can change in an instant and we've had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you," she said. The clips show the couple's undeniable closeness, holding hands, arms around each other and laughing together.

"This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted as simply loving and being loved." Kate has been vocal about the support from her family, and the video shows how she has managed to make the most of the hard times by being around loved ones.

"Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes."

The Princess of Wales also said she looks forward now to getting back to work and taking on more roles in the spotlight.

The positive news comes after Kate undertook months of preventative chemotherapy following her announcement she'd been diagnosed with cancer in March.

And it comes after the family's summer spent relaxing at their Amner Hall home. Kate previously revealed she had "good days and bad days".

William vowed to be at his wife's side throughout the past few months and took a step back from royal duties in order to help take care of her and their three children.

Kate went on: "William and I are so grateful for the support we've received and have drawn great strength from those who are helping us at this time.

"Everyone's kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey, I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand. Out of darkness can come light, so let that light shine bright."
