Despite being in lockdown, Prince William and Kate Middleton are still staying on top of their royal duties, and like many of us, are having to get to grips with Zoom to do so. Yesterday, the official Kensington Royal Instagram account shared a video of the Duke and Duchess virtually chatting with some of the pupils and teachers from Casterton Primary Academy (which has remained open as many pupils have parents who are key workers).

During the sweet video chat, in which the pupils showed off drawing of their parents and wore bunny rabbit ears (because in case like me you'd also forgotten, it's Easter this coming weekend). As well as congratulating staff for doing an incredible job – "It must be such a relief for all the parents who are key workers to know that the normality is there for their children" – the royal couple also gave an insight into their own celebrations.

After wishing staff "a very happy Easter", one of the teachers replied, "I hope there'll be a lot of chocolate at your house." William and Kate are then both seen laughing, and William replies, "There'll be a lot of chocolate being eaten here, don't worry!" before Kate playfully chimes in with, "You keep eating it!"

The Zoom chat came shortly after the couple reached out to NHS staffers in London via telephone, to both thank and offer their condolences after one of their colleagues sadly passed away from coronavirus.

Other royals, such as Princess Eugenie, have also been helping to boost morale by doing food drop-offs at various hospitals.

P.S. William, we're glad it's not just us who've already made their way through countless bags of Mini Eggs too.
