The drama surrounding the hacked emails alleged to be from David Beckham continues.

In these emails, the footballer allegedly criticised Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins for the reasons she received her OBE, and her former use of cocaine.

Now, Jenkins has spoken out about the comments for the first time.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Jenkins said "I'm a human being. Of course something like that would be hurtful.

"But at the same time I've learned when you're famous sometimes you get dragged into things you shouldn't be involved in.

"Sometimes people feel like they know you, but actually they know nothing about you."

When asked if she has forgiven Beckham for the comments, the singer said "You know exactly what I'm thinking!"

We think she means no.

The emails apparently quote Beckham as saying "Katherine Jenkins OBE for what? Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F**king joke."

His representatives completely refuted the emails and explained that they were taken from "outdated" material, which had been "hacked and doctored".

Meanwhile, Jenkins's manager is quoted as stating "I say Katherine was awarded an OBE for her services to music and charity.

"With regards to the taking of coke, which Katherine has courageously publicly admitted with great honesty - this was when she was in her early 20s still studying, over a decade before she was awarded her OBE and started her recording career."
