Kathryn Hahn lands next TV role
Agatha All Along star Kathryn Hahn has landed her next television role, with the actor joining the cast for Die Hart.
As per Deadline, Hahn has been added to the roster for the third season of the Roku Channel Show, which sees comedian Kevin Hart play a fictionalised version of himself.
Hahn isn’t the only new face, with JK Simmons, Tony Cavalero and Anna Garcia joining Hart and Nathalie Emmanuel. The season is set to premiere on December 13.

“Kevin Hart is done with the action — what he really wants is critical success,” reads the logline for the season. “But acclaimed director Jackson Pepper’s (Simmons) help hurts, thrusting Kevin and Jordan (Emmanuel) onto the wrong kind of ‘most wanted’ list.”
Hahn will reportedly play Jillian Avery, a “recognizable Oscar-winning movie star at the peak of her profession.” Simmons’ Pepper is described as “one of the all-time great directors” and a “force of nature who is serious, intense, thorny, and unpredictable.”
Garcia will play Pearl, a sweet and clueless aspiring actress willing to do anything she can to be part of a Jackson Pepper film”, whilst Cavalero – who stars in The Righteous Gemstones – set to play the “focused, intense, and easily agitated” Agent Fisher of the FBI, who happens to harbour a “deep secret.”
Die Hart will come fresh off the tail of Agatha All Along for Hahn, with the Marvel miniseries – a spin-off to WandaVision – following the titular character as she forms a coven of witches after being rendered powerless.

The show has been noted for its musical influence, with showrunner Jac Schaeffer explaining exclusively to Digital Spy: “Music was essential, really because of how thrilling the experience was on WandaVision… But also, because Agatha's song, 'Agatha All Along' was this breakout bop.
“So I knew going into this show it would have to have music, it took on a life of it's own. I feel calling it a musical, labels right now, hmm. It's not really a proper, traditional, musical, but there is an abundance of music and singing in it.”
Die Hart premieres on Roku on December 13.
