Katie Piper is pregnant with her second child

A huge congratulations are in order for Katie Piper, who revealed yesterday that she and her husband, Richard Sutton, are expecting their second baby together in a sweet Father’s Day message.

The star, who is already mum to three-year-old Belle, shared a photo of her growing baby bump on Instagram last night.

Katie wrote alongside the snap: “I’m so excited to tell you all [that] next Father’s Day my husband will be celebrating with two children!!

“Thank you @hellomaguk the beautiful photos will treasure forever!”

Katie was quickly inundated with messages of support from her 500k followers.

Prior to sharing her exciting news, Katie had paid tribute to Richard by sharing a photo of him holding Belle shortly after she was born in 2014.

Katie captioned the photo with: “Happy Father’s Day to the man who is an incredible father to my daughter – a true role model of how wonderful a man can be.”

She also paid tribute to her own dad, posting a throwback from her childhood and adding: “Happy Father’s Day to my dad!! And my hero – teaching me everything I know, always there for all 3 of us and, going on this picture, always tickling my feet when I ask”.

Last year, Katie admitted that she is always going to be open with her children about the horrifying acid attack that she suffered in 2008.

Following the attack, 33-year-old Katie has been forced to undergo painful surgery and has frequent hospital appointments, and she revealed that Belle has now reached the age where she is curious about her mother’s scars.

Speaking on Lorraine, the star explained: “It’s coming up I can feel it because we were on holiday last week and she pulled my nose tubes out and threw them across the room, so she’s noticing different things so I’m sure as she starts to put more sentences together maybe she will ask things.

“But that’s fine, I’m just going to be the same with her as I am with everybody in my life and it’s just part of me and who I am.”
