Katie Piper Undergoes More Surgery Seven Years After Horrific Acid Attack

Katie Piper is back in hospital for more surgery, seven years on from her horrific acid attack.

The 31-year old revealed in July that she had been forced to put her wedding on hold due to a series of upcoming operations and has already endured numerous hospital visits this year.

She posted an explicit photo to Instagram, which showed her nose post-surgery.

The TV personality captioned the photo: “I had surgery today on the inside of my nose to try help me to start breathing through my nose.”

“First photo was taken last night and my after pic just now in my hospital bed by my official escort/boyfriend!”

She has since posted a quote to her Instagram, which reads “Find a heart that will love you at your worst and arms that will hold you at your weakest,” which is dedicated to her fiancé James Sutton.

She added her own personal message to the sweet post, “The unconditional love you give me heals me from the inside out. Your not just present at the film premieres and exciting events but the NHS waiting rooms 6 hours at a time when my life is rubbish and boring.” (sic)

We’re so pleased that Katie has someone to support her through her on-going journey and it seems that James knows how to put a smile on her face even at the most testing times…

As the former model continued to share details of her current surgery, “I’ve had a skin graft taken from my bum cheek and grafted inside both of my nostrils to hopefully support and open my airways.”

Before concluding, “Looking forward to taking some deep breaths soon- Boyf says I sound like a baby lion when I try now so early days at the moment!”

Well baby lions are cute, aren’t they?

Katie didn’t just have the support of her doting fiancé either, as her 249k followers were quick to post messages of love and well wishes.

One user wrote: “You are off the scale!!!!!! U incredible woman x” (sic)

We have to agree, she is so far off the scale that she can’t even see the scale!

Another follower managed to sum up EVERYONE’S thoughts: “You really are such a beautiful person Katie, inside right through to the outside! Your little girl will grow up feeling so so proud to have such a strong, inspiring lady to call her mummy. I wish you a very rapid recovering with the outcome you wish for. Take care of yourself, and that beautiful little family of yours.” (sic)
