The former glamour model came under fire around Christmas time after she uploaded photos of the eight-year-old posing in heavy make-up.

Speaking on Loose Women, the 37-year-old admitted that it was perhaps a mistake to allow her daughter to wear so much slap.

She told the panel: “You’re all right. I was in the wrong.”

Mum-of-five Katie continued: “Princess sees how I pose. She thinks it’s natural. These pictures were taken when we did panto at Christmas and she just saw her mum doing it.

"I wouldn’t let her go to the shops like that.

"To me that’s innocent because she’s copying her mum. But after I posted it people were saying to me ‘Oh my god Katie, think about paedophiles. And I thought 'Oh yeah, you’re right’.

"When you say it, you can see it.”

To coincide with her comments Katie uploaded a make-up free selfie of her own to her Twitter account.

The reality star also admitted that her ex-husband Peter Andre didn’t approve of the photos that sparked around 1400 negative comments.

Admitting her ex Peter had strong views on the subject, Katie continued: “He did after the video. He said she doesn’t speak like that. And I say 'Yeah, you’re right.”

However, Katie admits that not everyone disapproved and Princess was even offered high fashion modeling contracts as a result of the pics.

Former pin-up Katie continued: “She’s been offered a lot of high fashion stuff since that, and I had to think 'Katie, what are you doing?’ I had to say no.

"I don’t mind being controversial with myself but not with my daughter.”
