Katie Price brands ex Peter Andre 'selfish' as Piers Morgan suggests she should 'grow up'

Katie Price has branded her ex-husband Peter Andre “selfish” in a live TV interview – but Piers Morgan also suggested that she should grow up from her chaotic lifestyle.

The model and TV personality was a guest on Good Morning Britain, where host Morgan asked her about her love life and how things were going with her third and currently estranged husband, Kieran Hayler.

She answered: “I’ll tell you about husband number one, because I’m doing my reality show at the moment and I’m really cheesed off with Pete [Andre].”

Price and Andre share two children, Junior and Princess, from their four-year marriage.

She continued: “When people are watching my show, they’re going to think, ‘where’s Junior and Princess?’ He won’t allow me to film them, he won’t allow me to do photoshoots of them, and he’s being such a hypocrite.

“Unfortunately, these days, you need both parents’ permission.

“So I just want to put it out there that he’s really selfish and the kids miss out on it. I don’t know why he’s doing it.”

Price then added: “You also need to follow his online trolling thing as well.”

She recently made a number of now-deleted Instagram posts about an unnamed ex, which included a meme that read: “A good parent does not take their child’s rights away out of hate and anger for the other parent.”

Another post read: “Children shouldn’t have to sacrifice so that you have the life you want. You make sacrifices so that your children have the life that they deserve.”

Morgan hastily clarified that he would ask Andre for a response as the interview drew to a close.

Her appearance started in typically controversial style as Morgan read out a tweet from a viewer.

But Price told the viewer: “Susie – turn off. Jog on.”

Morgan also asked her whether she thought it was time to grow up.

He said: “Your life seems to be one of perpetual chaos, and you’ve got all these kids. Is there a point where you look at yourself in the mirror sometimes and go, ‘you know what, I need to grow up’?”

Price replied: “I believe you live each day as if it’s your last, and my life hasn’t been mapped out. Anyway, what is perfect? I’ve got five kids by three different guys and that’s just the way it is. There’s always a drama in my life. Always.”

Recently, Price has come under criticism for looking at residential Monday to Friday schooling for her disabled teenage son Harvey, who she had always cared for at home.

She said: “When I show Harvey, I always show him in a good light. I never show him when he kicks off and is smashing things around my house.

“If I showed what he’s actually like then people would say, ‘oh my god, you’ve done so well to handle him’. But he’s not like a seal that I’m going to show him off, I want to show him in a good way, I’m very proud of him.”

Harvey had been expected to appear alongside his mum on GMB, but was absent and his Instagram account has been deleted after he posted a video last week saying that he was going to be a guest on the show and planned to say: “Hello Piers, you s*** banter.”

But Morgan took it on the chin, telling Price: “He was very funny about me last week.”
